Do you remember that in April 2013 Karuna Sessions was born, in Salvador, Brazil, as a pioneering radio program, which invited and presented in our humble web-home leading national and international artists of different origins in a series of musical events produced together to radio sessions, from places like OHM Club (Tresor, Berlin), BASE MENT (Berlin), Ciranda Café (Salvador, Brazil), etc.?
Probably not, but that's okay.
Since then, Karuna Sessions has traveled the world with more than 150 sessions produced in Brazil, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, France, Finland, Estonia and Sweden, with the presence of artists also from Italy, Holland, Russia, Israel, Egypt, Tunisia , Argentina, United Kingdom, Portugal, Chile, United States, Mexico and Japan.
Here, the road traveled has been long and tiring, including a big break in recent years. But as "a good son of the house returns", on 10 September 2022, starting at 5 pm, we will celebrate our 10th anniversary at the Simà Beach Club in Sassari.
Now Karuna Sessions is part of Purizu, an independent brand, radio, promoter and broadcasting platform carried out in the community, born in Italy from January 2022. In August 2022 we had more than 800 listeners on the radio, for a total of over 200 aggregate listening hours, distributed between Italy, the United States and Brazil, as well as other countries with a smaller sample.
